Global Ambassador Program

The OC-GAP program empowers future leaders and connects our communities through educational and cultural experiences. It provides an immersive international experience for young adults; scholarships;
and opportunities for leadership, service, and personal and professional development. The program showcases each participant’s academic abilities, public speaking skills, interview skills, and community service and community development opportunities.

Participants in the OC-GAP program will receive an 8-month leadership training that covers global awareness, international relations, servant-leadership, cross-cultural diversity, systemic inequality, social entrepreneurship, compassionate listening, communication skills, team building, and teamwork.
 

They also spend ten days traveling to and learning in one of Seattle's Sister Cities, engaging in cultural enrichment activities and group projects. Each participant is guaranteed a minimum of $500 in scholarship funds.
